I am excited to serve as the Assistant Principal over IB and Special Programming! As an Atlanta native, I am honored to be a part of the B.E. Mays High School family. Being an educator is my life's work and passion. It's a calling that I do not take lightly. I received my Bachelor of Science in History from THEE Jackson State University, my Master of Education from Mercer University, and my Education Specialist from Kennesaw State University. In 2010, I began my teaching career as a high school Social Studies teacher. I have taught in Newton County and Fulton County. I have also worked for an educational non-profit as the School Leadership Director for a program that exposes students to the business world in an interdisciplinary framework.
I believe exposing students to real world application and experiential learning is key to them leading choice-filled lives. Again, I am honored to serve as one of your Assistant Principals. Together, we will Reclaim Excellence And Continue History! #REACH
