• It is with gratitude that I serve as an Assistant Principal at THE Benjamin E. Mays High School. I am originally from Greenville, South Carolina and moved to Atlanta more than 20 years ago.  I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of South Carolina and pursued graduated degrees at Georgia State University receiving a Master of Science in HR Development and Columbus State University receiving a Specialist in Educational Leadership.

I have had the privilege to work in education as a middle school social studies teacher in Douglas and Cobb counties for 11 years and as a middle school assistant principal in Newton County for 5 years.  I joined the Mays family in 2022 as the Junior Academy Assistant Principal. For the 2023-2024 school year I am proud to serve as the Senior Academy Assistant Principal.

I am looking forward to another aMAYSing year on “The Hill” where we will Reclaim Excellence And Continue History!  #REACH.
