Student Support

  • The Office of Student Support is designed to meet the support needs of all students. Each school has at least one full or part-time Counselor & Social Worker who provide services to students in need.  Please click on the links to the left to find out more specific information regarding each of the services below.


    Support is provided in a tiered support model to ensure the appropriate support is provided to students with fidelity.  We are in the process of developing a data base of external support services that can help us support our schools and students. Talk It Out

  • Talk It Out is a youth-focused mental health crisis text line that is available 24/7, is fully confidential, and is staffed by licensed clinicians. Sponsored by Atlanta Public Schools for its students and communities, Talk It Out provides students with a safe, anonymous space to talk through problems with kind and caring counselors trained to get them any help that they might need.
