Talk It Out: Mental Health Text Line for Students
-
Need someone to talk to? You’re not alone.
Talk It Out is a free, confidential text line ONLY for students in grades 6-12. Whether you're feeling stressed, anxious, sad, or just need someone to listen, licensed mental health counselors are available 24/7 to support you.
Sponsored by Atlanta Public Schools but run by an independent organization, Talk It Out is a safe and anonymous space where your privacy is protected. You’ll always be connected with a real, licensed clinician trained to help you through challenging moments, a crisis, or just a moment of stress. Students don’t have to face it alone. Talk It Out is here—anytime.

It’s Confidential. Your conversations are private and encrypted. School staff and parents won’t have access to your texts.
-
It’s Staffed by Licensed Professionals. You’ll talk with real, trained mental health clinicians—not bots or volunteers.
