Hazel Health: Telehealth Services for APS Students

Atlanta Public Schools has partnered with Hazel Health to provide access to quality health care services for all students, at no cost to families, this school year. A school health representative can initiate a video visit with a Hazel health care provider while your child is at-school to provide either physical or mental health services. Therapy sessions with Hazel Health are a safe space and are private and confidential.

Who is eligible to use Hazel services?

Any student who is enrolled in a traditional or non-traditional APS school and has a consent form on file.

Where and when is Hazel available?

• At School: Hazel is available at school, during regular school hours. When a student is in school and needs health services, the school nurse or designated staff uses an iPad to help connect your child directly with a Hazel provider over live video.
  • Available Times: During Regular School Hours
    
    
• At Home: Hazel is available to your child at home. When your child needs health services, you can connect directly with a Hazel provider over live video. To start a video visit or join a therapy session from home, create a Hazel account.
  • Available Times:
    • Mental Health Services: Mon-Fri 7AM-7PM 
    • Physical Health Services: Mon-Fri 7AM-5PM
