Thanks to the generous support of our partners, Get Our Kids Connected is closing the digital divide and giving greater access to Atlanta Public Schools students.
Atlanta Public Schools (APS) has partnered with Comcast to launch the Get Our Kids Connected campaign to support thousands of students attending APS who do not have an internet connection and/or appropriate equipment in their home. This creates a significant disadvantage to academic progress and consequent economic mobility that is only exacerbated by community emergencies like the current COVID-19 situation.
Contributors can help close the digital divide and homework gap by providing eligible students with 12 months of free high-speed internet through Comcast, internet connection through an alternative resource, and/or a new laptop.
