Atlanta Prepares for College Football Playoff National Championship Return to Mercedes-Benz Stadium;
Leaders to Discuss Events and Community Impact Initiatives at Kickoff News Conference
WHAT: The College Football Playoff (CFP) will host a news conference and kickoff event for the 2025 CFP National Championship taking place in Atlanta. Lineup of fan events to be discussed, as well as the joint effort between the CFP Foundation and the Atlanta Football Host Committee to support PK-12 education.
The College Football Playoff National Championship Trophy will be on hand for photos and video.
WHEN: Tuesday, April 30, 2024

WHERE: M. Agnes Jones Elementary School | 1040 Fair St. SW
(Media is encouraged to enter the parking lot in the back of the school near the playground on Agnes Jones Place, SW. You should be able to see the playground area from the street. The news conference will be held in the school’s gymnasium, through the glass doors at the back of the school.)
WHY: Each year, the CFP and CFP Foundation celebrate the great game of college football with a complete weekend of events, culminating this season with the 2025 CFP National Championship on Monday, January 20, 2025. More than 100,000 local residents, plus visitors from across the country, are expected to attend the fan events preceding kickoff. All of the events and activities will take place January 18-20, 2025 in and around the Atlanta area.
