APS to Host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at Kindezi at Gideons Elementary School, Friday

 

ATLANTAAtlanta Public Schools (APS) will host the second of two ribbon cutting ceremonies this week, as the newly renovated facility and campus at Kindezi at Gideons Elementary School is officially unveiled, Friday.

  

The $16.5 million renovation at Kindezi at Gideons features a near total rebuild of the old facility, with wider, brighter hallways and remodeled classroom spaces. A ceremony was held Wednesday for the new, $30.5 million TAG Academy, built on land adjacent to the old building in southwest Atlanta, near the Atlanta Beltline.

 

Both building projects were paid for with SPLOST funds.
