APS Superintendent to Discuss Various Topics at Media Roundtable

 

ATLANTA – Atlanta Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Meria J. Carstarphen will discuss the District’s proposed budget for the 2019-2020 school year, and its impact on teacher salaries, along with a number of topics with members of the news media at her Quarterly Media Roundtable. Other topics include:

 

  • 2019 graduation event guidelines and protocols for commencement ceremonies at Georgia Tech’s McCamish Pavilion
  • Safety and Security initiatives
  • Transportation updates
  • Impacts of the 2019 Georgia General Assembly Legislative Session
  • PowerUp summer program
  • Customer Service/Let’s Talk initiative
