L.P. Miles Elementary School Staff to Honor Fifth Graders with Community Caravan, Today

 

ATLANTA – L.P. Miles Elementary School Principal Thalise Perry and the school’s  faculty and staff will honor their fifth graders who are being promoted to middle school (sixth grade) with a horn-honking, sign-waving caravan through the school community, located in southwest Atlanta, today at 1 p.m.

 

The goal of the caravan is to pass by the home of every student in Miles’ fifth grade class of 2020, on the final day of the 2019-2020 school year.

 

WHAT:      The faculty and staff of L.P. Miles Elementary will drive their cars past the homes of each fifth grader in a community caravan, to honor the students being promoted to middle school (sixth grade).

 

WHEN:     Today, Friday, May 22 | 1 p.m.

 

WHERE:   The caravan will begin in the parking lot of Miles Elementary (4215 Bakers Ferry Road, SW).
