L.P. Miles Elementary School Staff to Honor Fifth Graders with Community Caravan, Today

 

ATLANTAL.P. Miles Elementary School Principal Thalise Perry and the school’s  faculty and staff will honor their fifth graders who are being promoted to middle school (sixth grade) with a horn-honking, sign-waving caravan through the school community, located in southwest Atlanta, today at 1 p.m.

 

The goal of the caravan is to pass by the home of every student in Miles’ fifth grade class of 2020, on the final day of the 2019-2020 school year.

 

WHAT:      The faculty and staff of L.P. Miles Elementary will drive their cars past the homes of each fifth grader in a community caravan, to honor the students being promoted to middle school (sixth grade).

 

WHEN:     Today, Friday, May 22 | 1 p.m.

 

WHERE:   The caravan will begin in the parking lot of Miles Elementary (4215 Bakers Ferry Road, SW).
