Atlanta Public Schools Adds Saturday Meal Distribution

 

ATLANTA – In addition to Wednesday meal distribution and curbside meal pickup, the Atlanta Public Schools Nutrition Department will begin distributing seven-day pop-up meal kits to children ages 1-18 in the city of Atlanta on Saturdays, beginning Saturday, February 6.

This recurring meal distribution will take place from an APS school bus this week in the parking lot of Wayfield Foods, located at 3050 Martin Luther King Drive SW, in Atlanta, from 10:30 AM to Noon. Parents and guardians may pick up one meal kit for each child, ages 1-18.
