Our core business is student achievement through quality instructional programs. However, we understand that a number of business operational factors contribute indirectly to student achievement. We are committed to:

• maintaining a safe, clean environment for our students
• providing students with safe, environmentally friendly transportation
• managing an efficient school nutrition program

Thanks to the support of Atlanta’s taxpayers who have voted three times to pay anadditional one penny in sales tax, we have created 21st century learning environments for our students that aredesigned to enhance teaching and learning. Since 1999, we’vecompleted 41 renovations, built 14 new schools and made upgrades to 11schools in order to create state-of-the-art learning environments.

School bus drivers, cafeteria managers, maintenance workers, and security officers make a difference in the lives of our students.
