Athletics Advisory Council

  • Introducing the inaugural Atlanta Public Schools Athletics Advisory Council.  This advisory group will serve as a voice for student-athletes and their families.  The organizational meeting was 6:00pm, Wednesday, September 25th via Zoom.

  • Together with the APS Office of Strategy & Engagement, the Department of Athletics (Athletics) is conducting an Environmental Assessment to better understand your experiences.  This assessment will help us develop strategies to address any challenges or barriers you may encounter as a student-athlete or parent/guardian.

     

    We want to hear from you!  The Environmental Assessment involves listening sessions and a brief survey where you can share your thoughts and experiences with us. The listening sessions ran through the month of April as follows:  

    • Tuesday, April 16
    • Tuesday, April 23
    • Tuesday, April 30

    Each session lasted approximately 50 minutes.  You can play the recordings for each listening session at the links below:
