- Please note that sponsorships purchased after March 6th will not be recognized on the event program.
Please click HERE to purchase your tickets.
- Please note that as with any online purchase, there are credit card and processing fees. Given that this is a fundraiser for the PTA, these fees have been added to the purchase price at check out. If you prefer not to pay these fees, please contact Halley Blythe and she will provide instructions for how to pay via check.
Once purchased, your tickets (plus play money and raffle tickets if applicable) will be available at check-in at the event.
How does Casino Night Work?
The first question everyone has: “Is it a real Casino?” No! We will be playing all the games with ‘Play Money’.
Casino Tables will be set-up throughout the venue, manned with professional dealers ‘ready to roll’.
You can purchase this “Play Money” or some choose one of the Family Sponsorship package which includes “Play Money’.
“$500 Play Money” can be purchased for $25.
Enjoy the evening and win as much as you can!
Towards the end of the evening, we will finish up the games and each player will cash their ‘Play Money’ in for raffle tickets. (Important note: ‘Play Money’ cannot be cashed back in for cash/real currency).
Players will receive one raffle ticket for each $500 of Play Money they have retained or won (rounded up – eg. If you have $600 of winnings, you will receive two raffle tickets). The more you win – the more raffle tickets you can collect.
Raffle ticket holders drop their tickets into the draw for the raffle prizes and winners will be drawn.
For those guests not wanting to play Casino games during the evening, raffle tickets are available for direct purchase at $25/ticket.
All proceeds raised from ‘Play Money’ and raffle ticket sales go back to the MES PTA to support our 2023 initiatives.
If you are interested in becoming a Corporate Sponsor, please review options HERE and/or simply sign up HERE. For more information, please contact Justin Hubbarth.
Do you or does someone you know work in the entertainment, sports, or travel industry? Does grandma have a beach house? If you have an experience or item that you would like to offer for our raffle, please contact Lori Brown or Stuart Lake.
We cannot do this without the parent volunteers. A sign up will be available soon and will be advertised via Digital Dolphin and Facebook.
Casino Night Beneficiaries
As with all of the MES PTA’s fundraisers, the proceeds from Casino Night will directly impact our ability to fulfill our mission to benefit our school. Through our previous fundraising efforts, we have been able to provide the necessary funds to carry on PTA programming for this year, as well as contributing to initiatives at both campuses that MES has been lucky to call home, including new audio/visual equipment for the Inman Auditorium, providing seed money for the new Virginia Highlands Elementary School PTA, and helping to fund the new outdoor amphitheater at the E. Rock Springs campus. And now we're looking forward to what's next. With that in mind, this year's Casino Night will specifically benefit two new priorities for the MES PTA at the E. Rock Springs campus:
One of the primary beneficiaries of this year’s Casino Night will be the Outdoor Learning Space and Garden at the E. Rock Springs campus. Investments in our outdoor learning space and garden at the E. Rock Springs campus will aim to enhance the MES curriculum overall. The hands-on life science and ecology experiences will help to expand the students' knowledge of food systems and encourage healthy food choices. The garden will also provide a beautiful outdoor reading space, while also creating a learning environment that is calm and welcoming. With our educational partners, our students will develop skills in environmental science, sustainable urban living, organic gardening, health and nutrition, and more.
Additionally, we hope to fund further initiatives within our wonderful MES library and Media Center at the E. Rock Springs campus. Enhancements including a large, sturdy, child-friendly book drop for the high volume of circulation our school experiences on a daily basis will be a welcome addition to increase efficiency and utilization of one of our school’s greatest resources.
