Throughout the school year, all MES Students will have the opportunity to participate in field trips and other educational experiences. Many field trips require specific admission and/or other fees.
Field Trip Permission Forms must be completed, signed, and returned to the student's teacher before the day of the trip. Written notes and/or phone calls cannot be accepted as a form of permission to attend an off-campus activity. Parents may be asked to chaperone field trips, which is arranged by the student's homeroom teacher & room parents.
Some field trips will occur during a class's regularly scheduled lunchtime. Depending on the venue, teachers may opt to take an early lunch at school or to eat off-site. In instances where lunch is to be off-site, parents are encouraged to pack a brown-bag lunch whose packaging may be discarded or recycled.
