Nonessential visitors, volunteers, and activities involving external groups or organizations will not be allowed at Morningside. We love our daytime visitors, but we are going to pause these programs until further notice
Parents and guardians will be able to come into the school’s main office for needed school business. One visitor at a time will be allowed in our main office.
As soon as we receive a reopening date, we will formulate a plan for families to possibly visit the school in small groups so that students know how to get to their assigned class on our first day at MES@Inman.
Our school office will not accept forgotten lunches, water bottles, projects, assignments, or school supplies. Students who forget these items will be provided them for that day as much as possible, and any student who needs to purchase a school lunch will be able to do so, charging it to the individual student’s lunch account.
We appreciate your cooperation with these Morningside procedures, as it will minimize unnecessary student and staff movement, visitors to the building, and touching of shared items.
Virtual meetings will be utilized in place of in-person whenever possible. This will include Student Support Team (SST), Special Education, and Parent Teacher Conferences. Only in unavoidable circumstances will meetings be held in person. These will be limited to only essential personnel and visitors, to promote social distancing in our meeting space.
