    Dear Morningside Community,

    I am incredibly honored and excited to share that the APS Board of Education approved my appointment as the new principal of Morningside Elementary at the May 5th, 2025 Board Meeting. Through the privilege of serving as your Interim Principal, Assistant Principal, and School Business Manager, I have come to know firsthand the strength, resilience, and heart of this amazing school community. It is with deep gratitude and a strong sense of purpose that I officially step into the role of principal.

    During my time as Interim Principal, I have had the opportunity to lead alongside our dedicated staff, engaged families, and amazingly inquisitive Dolphins. I have continued to witness the vibrant learning that takes place in our classrooms, the commitment of our educators, and the unwavering support from our families. These experiences have reaffirmed what I already have come to know about our unique community - that Morningside Elementary is a truly special place dedicated to experiential learning.

    As we look ahead, I am fully committed to continuing our collective work to foster a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment where all students will be nurtured and well prepared for their future. Together, we will build upon our traditions of excellence while embracing new opportunities for growth and innovation.

    I am truly grateful for your trust and support through this process, and I look forward to deepening our partnership in the months and years to come. My door is always open to welcome your thoughts, questions, and ideas. I am so proud to serve as your new principal and am excited for our future accomplishments for our Dolphins.
