Teacher appreciation at MES is a year-round activity, because our teachers are the lifeblood of our school! To show our appreciation, our Staff Appreciation Committee plans recognition events and small treats for our teachers at least once a month. From coffee carts to themed lunches, we love to spoil our teachers!

Staff Appreciation Week 

In addition to our ongoing teacher appreciation events, our Staff Appreciation committee also coordinatesthe annual Staff Appreciation Week, which this year will be held the week of March 24th through March 29th.

Throughout this week, our Classroom Parents will be showering our teachers with love through the delivery of notes from their students, favorite treats, new resources for their classrooms and so much more! MES parents, please check your email for details about how you can best support these efforts throughout the week.

Our PTA Staff Appreciation Committee will also be busy throughout the week to show our immense gratitude to everyone who works at MES, from our teacher support staff and non-homeroom teachers to our administrators, clerks, and many, many others. A school is more than just teachers and students, and we are so appreciative of all the ways that our MES staff comes together to make Morningside such a wonderful place for all of our students and families.

On Friday, March 29th, our Staff Appreciation Committee will be showering our MES staff with sweets and treats.
